The Tempest outdoor theatre - Fyne Court

A performance of the Shakespeare classic on the lawn of Fyne Court.

“Hell is empty and all the devils are here…”

For twelve years Prospero, the rightful duke of Milan, has dwelt on an island after his brother Antonio betrayed him and cast him adrift in a small boat. For twelve years he has plotted revenge on those who overthrew him...

Classical language combines with live music and choral sea shanties to bring what is thought to be the bard’s final play to life. A tale of revenge, love and forgiveness that is sure to delight audiences of all ages.

Critics have said of our Shakespeare productions:

“A magical adaptation in a wonderful setting!” - Broadway Baby (Macbeth)

“This is Shakespeare we can relish – lucid, emotional, funny in all the right places!” - BN1 Magazine (Romeo & Juliet)

“Shakespeare would have envisioned his play to be enjoyed exactly this way!” - Visit Brighton (A Midsummer Night’s Dream)

Put on by returning theatre group This Is My Theatre who performed fantastic shows for us at Fyne last year.

Enjoy the performance with a wonderful cream tea from the café - you can book in advance in the ticket section.

This includes a fruit/plain/gluten-free scone, a pot of jam, a pot of clotted cream and a hot drink of your choice.
