British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreted Emmetts Garden History Tour

Discover the history of Emmetts Garden. A National Trust guide will be leading the group with a British Sign Language (BSL)/English Interpreter.

A member of the Emmetts Garden team and a BSL interpreter will show you selected areas of the beautiful Edwardian garden sharing information about its history and some of the highlights of the garden.

There is also a BSL-led tour taking place at nearby Chartwell on the same day at 11am. It is possible to join both tours. You will need to pre-book for the Chartwell BSL-led tour on the Chartwell website.

The tour will last approximately 1 hour, and we welcome those both Deaf and hearing to join.

  • Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
  • Please head to the Visitor Centre on arrival.
  • The tour will take place outside so please dress appropriately for the weather.
  • The BSL/English Interpreter will be there to interpret the guide's tour from English to BSL and your questions from BSL to English.
  • Hard paths in main garden. Steep incline from the Visitor Centre to Discovery Cabin - buggy may be available for this section of the garden, please ask. Accessible toilets.
  • Children are welcome.
