Meadow Mania Part 1: British Native Meadow Species

Join Nature Conservation Advisor, Chloe Lumsdon, for a deep dive into identifying the native flora in the restored hay meadows at Acorn Bank. This is an opportunity to explore part of the estate not usually open for visitors. 

On this date, Meadow Mania Part 1 is in the morning with Chloe, and is followed in the afternoon by a session learning how to sketch meadow flowers with local artist David Hawkes. If you would like to attend both sessions please book your ticket for each separately.

Please note:

  • Normal admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
  • Meet at the Shepherds Hut.
  • Please wear sturdy footwear, and depending on the forecast, waterproof clothing!
  • The footpath to the meadows is unsurfaced and crosses parkland with some steep gradients.
  • Children are welcome but should be accompanied by an adult.
