On this self-led walk, you can explore 120 acres of beautiful blossoming trees, magnolia's, twisting paths, blankets of bluebells, and a stunning lake and wetland area, all before we open for the day.
Join our exclusive early morning photography, and enter the arboretum at 8am before normal opening hours.
Enjoy the calm and quiet atmosphere of Winkworth, with uninterrupted views of the beautiful landscape. See spring emerge and blossom to it's wonderous potential. Starting Tuesday 15 April, booking is required.
Bring your own photography equipment (whether a phone or camera), to take photos on your self-guided walk.
Please note:
- Meet in the Winkworth Arboretum car park, between 8:00-8:15am.
- Wear clothing appropriate for the weather, and wellies or sturdy shoes. Bring your own photography equipment (whether a phone or camera), to take photos on your self-guided walk.
- The arboretum is planted on steep slopes and hills with steps. Please be aware that paths may become muddy and slippery.
- Please arrive at Winkworth between 8:00-8:15am.
