Snowdrop tours with the Garden Team
Join our expert Gardeners on a Snowdrop tour through Geraldine and Erskine’s wood.
On this crisp winter wander our Senior Gardeners will lead you around carpets of snowdrops, delving into Ickworth’s planting history and highlighting the different varieties of snowdrop that call the Estate home. This tour will take approximately one hour, please come dressed in appropriate clothing and footwear as the ground conditions can be muddy during the winter months.
Please note:
- Normal Admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please meet outside Porter’s Lodge Café where the Gardeners will meet you.
- Please wear weather appropriate clothing as this tour will take place outside. After periods of rain the route can become muddy, we recommend wearing wellington boots or walking boots for this tour.
- This tour takes place in Geraldine and Erskine’s wood. The walk itself avoids any steep inclines or declines, but the route can get muddy after periods of poor weather. Ground matting will be placed down in areas to improve accessibility, but some manual and powered wheelchairs may need some assistance to cross these areas.
- These tours are aimed at an adult audience, but people of all ages are welcome.
