You'll be bashing the bracken to stop it smothering species rich grassland and removing it from tree cages to create space for tree saplings to grow.
Working with our rangers from the Ullswater team. Meet at National Trust Glencoyne car park and then walk to where you'll be working.
Please note:
- Meet at National Trust Glencoyne car park CA11 0NQ.
- Wear sturdy boots or wellies. We recommend wearing long sleeves and long trousers. Jacket in case it rains, sun protection, hat and glasses. Bring a pack lunch, drinks and snacks.
- There is uneven terrain, rough rugged vegetation under foot.
- Not suitable for children.
- We advise wearing insect repellent and bringing a tic removal card with you.
