Guided Wider Estate Walk: Spring symbolism, Easter and Ostara

Join one of our knowledgeable walk leaders for a walk across the estate (approx 3 miles) exploring life on the estate as winter fades and spring energy returns.

Learn more about spring symbolism through the centuries and across the British isles.

Please wear sensible footwear and suitable clothing, as well as water/refreshments. Look out for our walking guides in red at the meeting point, near the tea room.

The walks are from 1.5 - 3 miles and might be on stoned paths, or through fields. All with the support of our friendly experienced walking volunteers

Dogs on leads are welcome.

  • On arrival head to the Welcome Centre and inform them you are here for a well-being walk. The meeting point is outside the tea-room, where our walking volunteers will be to greet you.
  • Wear sensible footwear, warm clothes and waterproofs. Dress for the weather.
  • Ground will be uneven and over hilly terrain.
  • Toilets and café will be open.
  • Dogs on leads are welcome.
