Sparkling Evening Talk - 'Reflections on 15 Years in Garden Design'
Join multi-award winning garden designer, Lucy Bravington, to hear what it takes to create an award winning show garden.
'Seeds of Inspiration: Reflections on 15 Years in Garden Design'.
Lucy Bravington is an accomplished garden and landscape designer based in Stratford-upon-Avon. With over 15 years of experience, she works on projects that range from private residential gardens to commercial spaces.
Known for her clean, elegant style and use of perennials and structured planting, Lucy is a regular judge at prestigious gardening events like BBC Gardeners' World Live. The winner of numerous awards for her work, she has a reputation for quality and creativity, which has made her a notable figure in the garden design community across Warwickshire and beyond.
In this talk, part of our programming theme of artists and their muses, Lucy will share the art, architecture and designs that inspire her creations. She will also reflect on the influence on her work of fellow garden designers, Piet Oudolf and Luciano Giubbilei.
Your evening starts with us welcoming you to the house with a glass of fizz.
Please note:
- Enter via Visitor Reception and make your way down the drive. The main house entrance is 300m from the visitor car park immediately in front of you.
- You may wish to bring a sweater or a warmer layer if it is a cool evening.There is a ramped entrance into the house but please be advised that the talk is in the Picture Room on the lower ground floor, which has stepped access only.
- Children over 16 are welcome, supervised by parent/guardian
- Gates open at 6pm. You are welcome to view the gardens prior to the talk but please be at the main house entrance by 6.30pm.
