Block Printing Cushion Workshop, Fri 9 May, 10.30am - 1pm

Join Sarah from 'Sarita Prints Joy' for this half day block printing workshop in the mezzanine of the Riding House Café nestled in the heart of the garden at Nymans.
During this morning workshop you will be inspired to choose and print from Sarah’s (of Sarita Prints Joy) extensive collection of hand-carved Indian woodblocks. Sarah will demonstrate how to make an effective print and give inspiration and ideas for your print design and colour palette with her joyful range of fabric paints. There will then be ample time for you to handprint your final design onto a 50x50cm cream cushion cover to take home and enjoy.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those keen to experience the art of hand printing. A feather cushion pad can be bought at the workshop for £10, please indicate at time of booking if required.
Everything you need to create your own unique cushion cover will be provided. A relaxed and chatty atmosphere awaits in the Riding House Café on the mezzanine floor over looking fantastic views of the Sussex Weald.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Please let us know of any dietary requirements at checkout.

- Please check in at the Visitor Welcome building where a member of the Welcome team will show you the way to the Riding House Café.

- Please bring an apron or wear clothing that you don’t mind getting paint on.
