Without gifts in wills, we simply wouldn’t be able to look after the extraordinary places in our care and Castle Drogo is no exception. This special event will take you behind the scenes with the staff team to see first-hand how your support is helping us carry out crucial conservation work every day in the castle, garden and wider landscape. Over a light afternoon tea, you'll be able to ask questions about our work and how a gift in your own will could help to safeguard the future of our special places.
Please note:
- Check in at visitor reception with our friendly welcome team who will direct you to the meeting point in the café.
- Part of the afternoon will be spent in the garden so please dress appropriately for the weather and gravel paths.
- Low light levels in castle and ascending or descending some stairs with no handrails required for all areas. Garden paths are gravel with some terraced areas with granite stairs. There are benches to rest. Accessible toilet located in visitor reception. Blue badge parking available. Buggy available on route from visitor reception to castle (330m tarmac drive).
