Wednesday at 1: The Railway Heritage Trust's 40th Birthday
The Railway Heritage Trust is a not for profit company which supports the restoration of listed railway structures and those in conservation areas.
The Railways Heritage Trust is celebrating it 40th birthday this year. To celebrate that anniversary its Director, Tim Hedley-Jones, will talk about a selection of some of the more than 2000 projects which they have supported in that time, and which are featured in a travelling exhibition called ‘Forty years of Transformation’.
Tim will talk about why looking after our railway heritage is so important, and some of the challenges restoration projects face.
