Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead

A bold and contemporary take on Tom Stoppard's iconic and award-winning play by Different Theatre, which takes place, as it were, "in the wings" of Shakespeare's 'Hamlet'.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead by Tom Stoppard

This absurdist, existential tragicomedy expands upon the exploits of two of the bard's anti-heroes, the ill-fated courtiers Rosencrantz and Guildenstern.

A rollercoaster of humour and poignancy, our exhilarating adaptation will draw on a range of stagecraft and audience participation to present the play with just four actors instead of the usual twenty.

Brought to you by the award-winning Different Theatre, creators of 'Clean', 'Chemistry' and 'The Last'.

Directed by Sam Chittenden. Featuring Ben Baeza, Morgan Corby, Ross Gurney-Randall and Nancy Logan.

An amateur production supported by The Cotton Theatre Trust.

Please Note:

  • At the Barn Theatre entrance via the Tea Room.
  • There is wheelchair access.
  • Recommended for children 12+
  • Please note the run time is an approximate length.
