Join Alison from the Wimbledon Beekeepers Association for a fascinating dive into lives of our black and yellow friends. Learn about different types of bees, their vital role in nature, and how they produce delicious honey.
Try on a real beekeeping veil, and sample honey harvested right here at Morden Hall Park. Plus, find out how you can support bees and learn about the important work of our local beekeepers.
This event does not include a visit to the live bee apiary for safety reasons.
Please note:
- Meet in the Stableyard Area.
- This event will take place outdoors so please wear appropriate shoes and consider sun cream in case of warm weather.
- This event will take place on grass if weather permits, otherwise inside the Exhibition Space which is ground level. Toilets are very close by in the Stableyard and Snuff Mill including accessible toilets.
- Children 6+; all children accompanied by a paying adult.
