Join other outdoor enthusiasts and our ranger volunteers on this guided group walk around Ickworth’s parklands and woodlands.
Please note:
- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please meet outside Porter’s Lodge Café where the volunteers will meet you.
- Please wear weather appropriate clothing as this tour will take place outside. This walk will last around 2 ½ hours to leave enough time to travel further into the estate and walk back to the car park.
- This walk goes out into the wider estate and will go over uneven ground and possibly in areas where there are no hard standing or flat pathways. Because of this some manual and electric wheelchair users may find the route difficult. This route is most suitable for those with a good level of fitness as the walk will last around 2 ½ hours.
- These tours are aimed at an adult audience, but people of all ages are welcome.
- Please bring any food and drink you might need throughout the duration of the walk. There are no toilet facilities on this walking route, the closest toilets to the starting point are in the main car park.
- Please leave enough time to get to the meeting point at Porter's Lodge before the walk starts.
