Guided Walk - The Badger Trail Walk
Join our knowledgeable volunteer walk guides on one of our new trails, the Badger Walk. This is the hardest of our four new walks and will take you around the periphery of Clent and Walton Hills.
The hardest of our four new walks, which include the Buzard, the Butterly and the Rabbit, the Badger Trail takes you around the periphery of Clent and Walton Hills. On this route you’ll pass historic pubs like the Hill Tavern and the Vine, as well as our neighbours at High Harcourt Farm. This trail is 4.3 miles.
Perfect for those who are looking to add a new walk to their regular routes, or those who’d like to learn more about Clent and the local area.
Please be aware this is a challenging trail; both the footpaths and terrain on this walk can be uneven – and this walk includes very steep inclines and steps.
Please note:
- Please meet at the Nimmings Road car park for a 10am start. Usual parking charges apply (free for NT members).
- Please dress for the weather. Sensible footwear such as walking boots should be worn. Please bring some water and a snack with you.
- The route does include walking up steep sections of hill and climbing over fences and stiles.
- The walk is approximately 5 miles and takes around 3 hours.
- Not suitable for very young children. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- The walks start and finish at the National Trust car park at Nimmings Wood. There are toilet facilities and a cafe here where you can buy refreshments. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time.
