Come and enjoy the beautiful views of Melford Hall park as part of a free guided walk. Hear about the history of the park, the ancient and modern archaeology on the site and see the very special 800-year-old oak trees. Do you know how the saying “By hook or by crook” came about? Want to know more? Well come along, learn, and join us for a short walk.
Please note:
- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Meet in the car park at Melford Hall.
- Please wear clothes suitable for the weather, to include stout footwear such as trainers or boots.
- There will be walking on uneven terrain with poor access in places, which may not be suitable for wheelchair users. Powered mobility vehicles are available to book in advance.
- Not recommended for young children.
