Orchard Guided Walk - Wed 23 April, 10.30am - 12.30pm.

Join George our Lead Ranger for a guided tour of the orchard restoration project at Nymans.

Come along and learn about how our new orchards have been created, how they will help to tackle climate change and how we plan to manage them in the future.

Join us to celebrate Orchard Blossom Day and find out more about orchards. Orchards are a wonderfully diverse habitat, vital for a wide range of wildlife from pollinating insects to apple feasting birds and textual mosses and lichens. With thousands of acres of traditional orchard habitat having been lost since the 1950's it has been extremely rewarding to reinstate our lost orchards across our estate. Learn what makes orchards tick and discover more about our Wood meadow restoration efforts!

The tour will last approx. 1.5 - 2 hours. £10 per person.

Please note:
