Clay Bird Making Workshops

Create your own charming little bird out of clay.

As part of the Surrey Sculpture Society event, we look forward to welcoming artist Karen Pearson to guide you in creating your own charming little clay bird surrounded by the inspirational setting of Claremont Landscape Garden. Your bird will be perfect to dot around your own garden or a lovely decoration for any window sill. You will be able to complete one bird during the session.  

Your clay bird will be dried, bisque fired and returned to Claremont Landscape Garden's Kiosk from 26 July ready for you to collect. You will be emailed when they are available to collect.

Please note:

  • Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
  • Please meet at the Kiosk ten minutes before the start time.
  • The workshop will take place under cover but outdoors, so please dress appropriately for an hour sitting outside. 
  • All equipment and aprons will be provided.
  • The activity takes place on flat ground and accessed via surfaced paths.
  • Suitable for children 5+, must be accompanied by an adult
