With one third of all flowering plants in the UK, Sandscale is a really special place for wildflowers and not least its flowering orchids.
From Dune helleborines to pyramidal orchids, we’ll see what we can find on this walk with our rangers.

- Please meet at the Red Hut, Sandscale Haws car park, LA14 4QJ Grid reference: SD 200 756.
- Wear outdoor gear suitable for the weather and sturdy footwear.
- The walk will go through undulating dunes and sandy beach.
- Children are welcome, and should be accompanied by an adult.
- This event is free, but donations are always welcome.
