Join the rangers on a walk to spot the elusive coralroot orchid as it flowers in early summer.
Rare throughout the UK, this vulnerable little orchid is tiny and difficult to spot. With only a handful of sites in the UK playing host to the vulnerable little orchids its presence at Sandscale makes it even more special.
It enjoys the habitat of the dunes here and due to its size can be difficult to see, so join the rangers on a walk to catch a glimpse of this tiny beauty.

- Wear outdoor gear suitable for the weather and sturdy footwear.
- The walk will go through undulating dunes and sandy beach.
- Children are welcome, and should be accompanied by an adult.
- This is a free walk, but donations are always welcome.
