Drop in for a relaxed writing session with local author Rennie Halstead and be inspired by the fascinating theatrical items in our museum.
Join local writer Rennie Halstead as he shines a light on some of our lesser-known theatrical objects.
You'll be encouraged to write a short creative piece based on your favourite item of the day through a series of guided exercises led by Rennie.
Whether you're a poet, a novelist, or someone just starting out in their writing journey, this is a friendly space to practice your craft.
Please note:
- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please pay for entry or scane your Membership Card at Visitor Reception in the house. The writing sessions are located in the Tea Room.
- Please bring a notebook.
- There is step free access via a portable ramp. Please ask a member of staff before or on the day of your visit to assist.
- Suitabe for ages 7+.
