Dr James Wright of Triskele Heritage is an award winning buildings archaeologist. He has two decades professional experience in the heritage world and over fifteen years of experience talking for organisations including the University of Nottingham, Arts Society, Gresham College, National Trust, WEA, Heritage Lincolnshire and Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings.
This event is part of our 100 year stewardship celebrations at the castle and we are delighted to offer this event FREE ON ADMISSION to visitors.
Normal admission charges apply - National Trust members FREE
This event will be taking place in the castle’s parlour. Due to the parlours capacity pre-booked tickets will be prioritised for entry. The parlour will be closed during the event.

- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please make your way to visitor reception upon arrival.
- Please wear practical footwear and weather appropriate clothing. It can get cold in the castle so a jacket or blanket is advised.
- The Parlour is on the ground floor with ramped access. The route to the venue space is over gravel which is deep in places. Further accessibility info is on Castle's website.
- Children welcome when supervised by an adult at all times.
- Pre booked tickets will be prioritised for entry.
