Photography workshops
Join professional Photographer Tony Cobley on a taster photography workshop in the garden at Coleton Fishacre.
Heading out into the coastal garden before its open to visitors, Tony will share how to fully experience the landscape and the environment before even getting your camera out. Mindful photography is all about being in the moment and capturing how the landscape made you feel at that moment.
Concentrating on creative rather than technical aspects of photography, Tony provides workshops that are fun and practical. So whether you come with a phone and no experience or with a big camera and lots of experience. It’s not a “how to use your camera” session but about “how to see creatively”.
Friday 23 May - Mindful photography
Thursday 5 June - Creative composition
Friday 20 June - Outdoor portraits
All workshops are free, but booking is essential. Spaces limited to 10 per workshop.
Please note:
- Please meet at Visitor Reception.
- Please wear weather appropriate clothing and good footwear, as you'll be walking around the garden. Please also bring along a camera or phone with a camera.
- The garden has steep steps and slopes.
- This event is suitable for older children when accompanied by an adult as you will be taking photographs and handling cameras.
