Spring: Nature journalling workshop

Immerse yourself in the world of nature and creativity, with artist Helen Wright. Connect with nature by creating your own nature journal, all materials included.

The workshop will involve taking a wander outside to explore nature. You’ll be using all your senses and experimenting with different ways of recording your observations and experiences.

At the Moorland Discovery Centre you’ll use a variety of materials to create your own, personal nature journal. All you need to bring is an open mind and some weatherproof clothing.

This workshop will give you the opportunity to slow down and connect to nature and to bring your creativity to life with a range of different inspiring activities.

Helen Wright is an artist and writer. Having worked for many years at Longshaw and across the Peak District she now runs nature and art-based workshops, enabling more people to experience the joys of nature connection through creativity.

This workshop is aimed at adults and children age 14+. Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult. No dogs please.
