North East in Blossom 2025: Blossom bathing at Gibside
Immerse yourself in nature at a blossom bathing session with Through the Trees.
Join Through the Trees for blossom bathing, a 'forest bathing' taster session. This is a serene, sensory experience inspired by the Japanese practice of 'shinrin-yoku', where you will be guided through a nature connection experience beneath spring blossom. Slow down, engage the senses, foster presence, and nurture wellbeing.
Free event, Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
Please note:
- Please meet in the Walled Garden, at the end closest to the café. Visitor Reception will be able to direct you on the day.
- This event is outdoors, please wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes.
- This is event is suitable for wheelchairs or Trampers, but includes uneven terrain and grass. If you have any questions please email lucy.stockdale@nationaltrust.org.uk.
- This event is aimed at adults, but everyone is welcome.
- Dogs are welcome.
