Find out how we look after its special habitats and how it's been at the centre of an innovative project for the past 30 years, protecting it against rising sea levels and restoring the saltmarsh.
Please note:
- Meet in Promenade Park (CM9 5UR) by the boating Lake carpark.
- W3W: airbrush.engraving.earful. Pay and display carpark (not NT) so charges apply. £8 for 2-5 hours.
- Wear sensible footwear for approx. The event is a 3 hour walk on uneven ground. Waterproofs or sunscreen depending on the weather. Bring refreshments.
- Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
