Join Jack the ranger to see behind the scenes at the team's meadow creation work. You'll stroll through the historic parkland to see some of the estate's most flower rich grassland and discover how meadows are made. Some hills and uneven ground, a few hilly sections specifically going up over the Clump. 

Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.

This walk is free of charge however booking is essential. A National Trust membership is not required to take part in this walk.

Please note:

  • Meet at the main visitor car park
  • Uneven ground in places. Please wear good walking boots or sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.
  • Distance: approximately 3 miles/2 hours. Terrain: Some hills and uneven ground.
  • Children over 12, accompanied by an adult, welcome.
