Guided Walk: Nightjars on Mottistone Estate
If you've ever wanted to spot a nightjar, then you can join our evening guided walk across the Mottistone Estate and we'll help you find one.
Nightjars are elusive creatures, but as sun sets and darkness falls, our rangers will be able to help you hear and spot them on this moderate two mile walk around the Mottistone Estate.

Please note:
- Meet at Mottistone Gardens car park PO30 4ED (SZ405 838) at 20:15.
- Please wear stout foot wear and weather suitable clothing for after sunset, and bring binoculars and a torch if you have them.
- Involves a fairly steep walk up to Mottistone Downs with some uneven ground.
- Donations to Mottistone welcome.
- Please be aware that this event is very weather - dependent. If it's raining or too windy nightjars may not be seen.
