Watercolour Workshop with Sue Kane

Join artist Sue Kane for a day of watercolour painting, inspired by the blooms on Castlefield Viaduct.

If you’ve always wanted to paint with watercolours but have never been quite sure where to start, this is the perfect opportunity. Join us at the Castlefield Viaduct for a watercolour workshop with Sue Kane, a relaxed introduction to watercolour with beautiful, fresh flowers from the Castlefield Viaduct for inspiration. You will be guided through the whole process and by the end of the workshop you will have your final painting along with the watercolour practice pieces to take home. 

All resources and equipment included in the workshop price. 

Please bring your lunch and an apron or old t-shirt. 

Refreshments will be provided throughout the workshop. 

This workshop is 5 hours with a 30 to 60 minute break for lunch and chance to explore Castlefield Viaduct.

Suitable for beginners, but anyone with a little more experience is more than welcome.

Please note:

  • Please meet at the Welcome area of Castlefield Viaduct
  • Please bring your lunch and an old apron or t-shirt.
  • Castlefield Viaduct is fully accessible by ramps and a hearing loop is installed. Lift access is available from Deansgate Castlefield Metrolink Stop.
  • This workshop is more suitable for adults.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before the event starts. Directions : Make your way to Deansgate-Castlefield tram stop. Cross all the tram lines and turn left down the access road. There is a large sign on the wall showing the way what3words///chops.inner.grin
