Wellbeing Walk - Lyme
Get out in the fresh air, re-connect with nature, and stretch your legs on one of our free volunteer-led group walks.
Step away from the hustle of modern life and join us for a wellbeing walk in the stunning parkland at Lyme.
Whether you want to enjoy being out and about in nature, get active, explore more of your local area or meet new friends, these walks are for you.
This walk will take in a view of Bowstones Reservoir, and will be approx. 3 miles in length, lasting around 1.5 hours. This will be a challenging walk that deals with steep hills and uneven ground, and therefore we regret that it is not suitable for wheelchair access.
Meet at the kiosk in the car park for 10.30am. The free walk includes admission to the park, however booking is essential as spaces are limited.
Please note:
- Please meet outside the information kiosk in the car park 10 minutes before the walk start time.
- Sturdy footwear is essential. Please also wear weather appropriate clothing - wrap up warm as it may be cold or rainy.
- The routes follow some steep and uneven terrain. Not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.
- It is approximately 3 miles.
- Not recommended for children under the age of 12.
- To create a peaceful atmosphere, free from distractions, the Wellbeing Walking group is not suitable for dog walkers. Please be aware that there may be other visitors in the park with dogs along the walking route and in the garden.
