Discover Ranmore Common
This is a guided walk led by our volunteer rangers across areas of Ranmore Common.
Discover the history of this landscape and the woodlands and grassland that make up Ranmore Common. Learn how this area was used historically, how its structure has shifted and changed over time, the pivotal role grazing animals have had in shaping it and about our ongoing and future management.
Tickets are £4 per person. Meeting point is at Stony Rock car park, the walk will take a total of two hours over some rough terrain, dirt tracks and gentle slopes.
Please note:
- Please meet the rangers at Stony Rock car park (Hogden Road, RH5 6SY. (what3words ///offer.runs.polite) Please be aware there are no toilet facilities at the meeting point.
- This walk is over rough/uneven terrain with several hills. Sturdy footwear is essential.
- Suitable for older children, 2 hours of standing and walking.
- Dogs are welcome, under control and on leads.
- Maximum of 15 people.
