Join us for an interesting talk on these fascinating creatures inside the iconic Mussenden Temple before setting off on a twilight walk in search of the native bats of Downhill Forest.

Join us as we take a look into the mysterious world of bats with local bat expert Karen Healy from Northern Ireland Bat Group. This special night will include a talk about bats, a quiz about bats, some batty activities and if you're lucky, get up close and personal with our nocturnal friends. We then head out for a walk in Downhill Forest in search of bats.

Please note:

• Meet at Lions Gate Car Park, Mussenden Road, Castlerock,  BT51 4RP, 15 minutes prior to start time to allow time to walk to the Mussenden Temple. Car parking free to attendees.
• Wear warm clothes and good footwear for the walk. Also a torch if you have one.
• There will be steps & rough terrain.
• Suitable for children over 7 years, accompanied by an adult.
• The walk will be weather dependant.
