Curators' talk on Dress to Impress: Fashion in Art

Alice Strickland, Curator, National Trust, and Sophie Clarke, Assistant Curator, National Trust will go behind the scenes in this fascinating talk about how Polesden Lacey’s new Dress to Impress exhibition was carefully and imaginatively brought to life.

Please note:

  • Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival. 
  • The talk will take place in the magnificent Gold Room inside the house at Polesden Lacey.
  • The house can be cold, so please dress appropriately.
  • A volunteer-run shuttle bus service runs from the visitor welcome area to the house entrance, subject to availability. The entrance to the house is step-free and wheelchair accessible. Toilet facilities (including an accessible toilet and changing facilities) are available on site.
  • This talk is mostly aimed at adults, but children are welcome.
  • No dogs allowed inside the house except for assistance dogs.
  • Please bring proof of tickets on the day.
  • The café will be open serving light refreshments.
