Block Printing Shopper Bag Workshop, Fri 13 June, 10.30am - 1pm

Print your own shopper bag.

Join Sarah from 'Sarita Prints Joy' for this half day block printing workshop in the mezzanine of the Riding House Café nestled in the heart of the garden at Nymans.

During this morning workshop you will be inspired to choose and print from Sarah’s (of Sarita Prints Joy) extensive collection of hand-carved Indian woodblocks. Sarah will demonstrate how to make an effective print and give inspiration and ideas for your print design and colour palette using her joyful range of fabric paints. Time will be spent to practice your unique design on paper before you handprint it onto a cotton canvas shopper bag to take home and enjoy. The bag has reinforced handles and makes an ideal companion to the beach or shops.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those keen to experience the art of hand printing.

Everything you need to create your own unique tote bag will be provided. A relaxed atmosphere awaits in the Riding House Café on the mezzanine floor over looking fantastic views of the Sussex Weald.

Admission to Nymans is included in the price of the workshop. Please arrive 10 minutes before the workshop is due to start as the Riding House Café is approx. 10 mins walk from the car park.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Please let us know of any dietary requirements at checkout.
