Summer hanging basket workshop
Treat yourself or a loved one and get ready for the summer season with a fun and creative morning making a beautiful hanging basket with the Wentworth Castle Gardens team.
In this fun and creative seasonal workshop you will use a variety of plants like Bacopa, Cineraria, Geranium and Lobelia to create your own unique design.
All materials will be provided, as well as guidance on making a beautiful basket to decorate your home or give as a unique gift. In line with our sustainable values we will be testing a natural wool based liner for our baskets this year.

The workshop will take place in the Blackbourn room in the Conservatory building.
The workshop is for those aged 18+.
Please note:
- This event will be in the Blackbourn room in the Conservatory. Please allow enough time to walk approximately 800 metres uphill from the carpark before the workshop start time.
- Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, we will provide gardening gloves.
- Full accessibility details available on our website. If you have any questions regarding access, please get in touch via our email address. Our buggy shuttle service can give you a lift if required.
