Common Ground: Nature Inspired Creative Workshops at Battersea Arts Centre
Join us for free monthly, nature focussed workshops inspired by 575 Wandsworth Road's garden.
Take part in Common Ground — this year’s nature-inspired community arts programme, inspired by the garden and hand-carved wooden interiors of 575 Wandsworth Road.
Each month, we host free artist-led workshops at Battersea Arts Centre for local residents to engage creatively with nature on their doorstep.
May’s workshop coincides with Mental Health Awareness Week with the theme of community. Led by papercutting artist Chloe Campbell, you will create nature-inspired papercuts based on patterns from the garden and interiors of 575 Wandsworth Road. These designs will then be transformed into cyanotype prints using a light-sensitive process — bringing each piece to life through light and shadow.
Common Ground is part of 575 Ways to Create and Connect, a programme designed to spark creativity and connection across all ages. Whether you join for one session or many, you’ll find a welcoming space to create, connect, and grow.
Please note:
- Meet in the foyer at Battersea Arts Centre, Lavender Hill, London SW11 5TN
- Battersea Arts Centre is committed to offering accessible spaces and has step free access, lifts, and chillout rooms. For more information please visit https://bac.org.uk/access/
- Suitable for adults.
