Quantock Hills Walking Festival | Quantock Volcano
Come along on Saturday 7 June and spot evidence of Quantock volcanism on this guided walk across the Quantock Hills.
Join a walk leader from the Quantock Hills Partnership Scheme, supported by Coleridge Cottage's walking volunteers, and explore the beauty of the Quantock Hills.
Take a route less travelled through relics of a country estate and spot evidence of Quantock volcanism along the way with this 10 mile walk.
Please note:
- Meet at the Hawkridge Reservoir layby (Lawyer's Hill).
- Please dress for the weather and wear study footwear suitable for walking. No flip flops or heeled shoes. Please bring water and snacks.
- Please keep in mind that these walks include uneven terrain and may be hilly in places. This is a long walk with 2 long ascents. Ascents are not super-steep, neither are descents, but make a physical demand. Going underfoot is generally reasonable, but care required in places. Please note the length of the walk when booking. There are no toilet facilities on this walk.
- These walks are unsuitable for children and dogs
