Guided Walk: Discover the Doone Valley
Take part in a guided walk of the Doone Valley and discover the beauty of the Exmoor landscape.
Join the walking team at the Lorna Doone Valley on a two-hour guided walk around the Doone Valley and surrounding Exmoor Landscape. Each walk will take in amazing views of the vast and diverse landscape of the Doone Valley and Exmoor. Along the way you may be lucky enough to spot Exmoor ponies, deer and a variety of different birds. Along with fantastic wildlife the valley is home to array of different wildflower and ancient trees.
Please note:
- Please meet at the Welcome Hut located in the main carpark.(EX35 6NU).
- Please wear clothing that is suitable for the weather and appropriate footwear. Bring any medication such as inhalers and EpiPens as some parts of the walk are difficult to access in an emergency.
- There are accessible parking spaces available. The walks will cover sections that are uneven and steep in places. The walks are not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users.
- Suitable for children over the age of 10. All children need to be supervised.
- This event may be cancelled due to poor weather or high winds.
