Join multi-million-copy selling, award-winning author (and former Children’s Laureate) Cressida Cowell, creator of the book and film sensation How to Train Your Dragon, and other bestselling series Which Way to Anywhere and The Wizards of Once. Cressida will be visiting Bodiam Castle to celebrate the new live action film release in June, and the dragon trail we are hosting at Bodiam!
Cressida will lead a short dragon drawing session followed by a Q&A, and then sign books—including her exciting new release, How to Train Your Dragon School.
Feel free to bring along your sketchbook—Cressida would love to see your dragon drawings!

11am: Dragon drawing demonstration and Q&A. Free with admission. No booking required.
11.30am to 1pm: Book signing. Free with admission. Booking is essential. SOLD OUT.
Please note: each booking admits up to two adults and three children to the book signing.

- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please meet in the castle courtyard at 11am for dragon drawing and Q&A, or within your pre-booked 30 minute time slot for book signings.
- This event is taking place outdoors, so please wear clothing appropriate to the weather.
- There are gravel paths from visitor reception to the castle and around the moat. Elsewhere in the grounds there is uneven terrain.
- Suitable for children.
