Jane Austen Festival: Cream tea picnic at Prior Park
Complete your exploration of Prior Park with a cream tea picnic by the iconic Palladian bridge.
There will be picnic blankets for you to borrow and some picnic tables available, but please feel free to bring your own blanket. Further refreshments will be available from the Tea Cabin, but all cream teas must be pre-booked.
The picnic will take place 2pm-4pm, but visitors are welcome to stay and enjoy their picnic until the site closes at 5pm.
Regency dress encouraged - you'll get 15% off admission.
Vegan and gluten-free options available (please note at this time we are unable to offer a cream tea that is both vegan and gluten free).
There is no parking on site, except limited pre-bookable accessible parking.

- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Cream teas will be available to collect from the Tea Cabin, at the bottom end of the garden by the lower entrance
- Regency dress is encouraged, but please be sure to dress appropriately for outdoor weather and uneven ground.
- Steep hills and uneven terrain. There is no parking on site. Limited pre-bookable accessible parking available.
