Topic Talk: A Man and His Maker: Facing Death in Worcester in 1499

Get to know Thomas Grene – first resident of Greyfriars, and a man we can only piece together by his will and the medieval Worcester in which he lived.

Join us for an enlightening talk on how one man prepared for death in medieval Worcester.

With little evidence detailing the lives of people living in the medieval era, we must piece together their world with the help of anything they leave behind, to create an image of who they were and how they approached life... and death.

Tuesday 19th August 2025 at 11.15am
