Join local bird expert Tim Jones and The National Trust to celebrate the fantastic local birds and ongoing nature restoration work at Kipscombe. 
 
The event will include a short presentation followed by a guided walk to see what birds we can spot along the way. No prior knowledge is needed, all experience levels welcome. 

The walk will be a approx. 2km loop over uneven, steep ground. Please make sure to wear suitable footwear and dress for the weather, it can get windy at Kipscombe! Please note that the walk may go through fields with cows. To prevent wildlife disturbances, dogs are not allowed on this walk. 

Hots drinks and biscuits will be provided.

Please park at Countisbury Common public car park (What3words: ///originate.clocking.marine) and follow signs down to Contisbury Farm (250m walk to the venue).

Please note:

  • Please park at Countisbury Common public car park (What3words: ///originate.clocking.marine) and follow signs down to Contisbury Farm (250m walk to the venue).
  • Wear clothing suitable for the weather (walking boots recommended).
  • Bring binoculars/camera/bird guides, if you have them (there will be some available to borrow)
  • The walk will take in uneven and steep ground.
  • This event is for 16 years +
  • To prevent wildlife disturbances, dogs are not allowed on this walk.
