Lakes and Lilies Festival: Linocut Workshop
Join us for a linocut workshop making a printed piece inspired by Sheffield Park’s beautiful lakes and lilies.
During this three-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to make a linocut print, where artist and instructor Laurel will demonstrate how to carve and print a colourful linocut by hand. Finish off your handmade piece by printing your own designs or by using pre-made shapes, using various colours to your liking.
This is the perfect activity to be inspired by nature and try something new in our cosy event space.
Places are limited, so be sure to book in advance.
Please note:
- Please meet outside Peacock Place, to the left of the Coach House Café, 10 minutes before the event starts.
- Please wear clothes that you don’t mind potentially getting ink on and/or an apron.
- Wheelchair accessible.
