Wednesday @ 1: The History of the Garden
Gardens have been the dream spaces that people and cultures have made for millennia.
Gardens follow the fashions and attitudes of the day and showcase the wonders of the natural world. Despite the changes, the ups and downs of history, ordinary people worldwide have always loved to enjoy and to cultivate a garden. We still do.
Join Anne Beswick for a talk on the history of gardens.
Please note:
- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Meet at The Castlefield Viaduct event space.
- There are no food or drinks vendors on site so any you may need you will need to bring with you. The event will take place inside.
- Castlefield Viaduct is fully accessible by lifts at Deansgate Metrolink, ramp access to the event space and with accessible toilets. There is a hearing loop in use on site.
- Children are welcome.
