Guided Wider Estate Walk: a gentle summer ramble

Join our knowledgeable walk leaders for a gentle guided stroll across the estate, taking in the sights and sounds of summer.

Join our knowledgeable walk leaders for a gentle guided stroll across the estate, taking in the sights, sounds and beauty of full summer. 

Please wear sensible footwear and suitable clothing, as well as water/refreshments.  Look out for our walking guides in red at the meeting point, near the tea room.

The walks are from 1.5 - 3 miles and might be on stoned paths, or through fields. All with the support of our friendly experienced walking volunteers

Dogs on leads are welcome. This event is free.

Please note:

  • On arrival head to the Welcome Centre and inform them you are here for a well-being walk. The meeting point is outside the tea-room, where our walking volunteers will be to greet you.
  • Sensible footwear, warm clothes and waterproofs. Dress for the weather.
  • Ground will be uneven and over hilly terrain.
