Guided Walk: Marsden Moor 70th Anniversary Boundary walk
Join us for a challenging walk to celebrate our 70th year at Marsden Moor.
In 1955 Marsden moor was gifted to the National Trust. Come and celebrate 70 Years of conserving the moorland and take in the whole area of the property. This challenging walk is over rough train and little used paths as well as taking in the original path of the Pennine way on our property.
This walk is 21 miles and will take approx. 10 hours.
Please note:
- Meet at the Marsden offices (Information Room The Old Goods Yard Station Road, Huddersfield HD7 6DH)
- Please bring suitable clothing and outdoor footwear.
- Not suitable for children
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of the walk so we can cover relevant safety information.
- Please wear suitable clothing for the changeable weather in Marsden and sturdy footwear.
- Bring a picnic (or: please bring plenty to drink and snacks)
