Cricket skills with Durham Cricket: Gibside Summer of Play
Have wicket fun playing sport!
Bat, bowl, and field your way to success in this fun cricket skills session, where kids can learn techniques and improve their game with hands-on coaching.
Cricket skills is an under 18 event to get children moving and learning new skills within a team. Bring along a blanket to watch your child from the edge of the field.
If there are any no-shows on the day, we may be able to welcome a few extra children to join, so it’s always worth checking in.
Please note:
- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Meet at the Play Paradise at Green Close Field, which is a 20 minute walk from Visitor Reception.
- SPF or raincoat - whatever the weather, there's always time to play.
- There is a ramped incline from Visitor Reception to the start of the trail paths. There is a hard trail path to the Play Paradise. Activities will take place on the grass.
- Stay all day: with temporary toilet facilities, picnic spots and even a tuck shop serving cold drinks, snacks and ice creams, there’s no need to leave the Play Paradise.
