Join Nature Reserve officer Jade for a guided walk introducing you to the long and fascinating history of this ancient woodland habitat.

Discover what makes a rainforest and why Borrowdale is so special. You will also get a glimpse into the work the National Trust team have been doing to protect the rainforest and what our plans are for the future.

Please note:

  • Please meet Seatoller National Trust car park.
  • Dress for the weather forecast, wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit muddy.
  • There is a gradual ascent through a field and wood, a steep descent through the woodland (rocky section),  and a small rocky scramble above the water with chain to help.
  • Suitable for 12 years and over.
  • Please leave your pet at home for this event.
