Create your own Mosaic Plant Pot

Make your own mosaic plant pot in this specialist workshop with EJaRt Creative.

This summer we are holding a series of workshops and craft sessions in our Walled Garden during Summer of Play. Located in our Creative and Performance play zone, you’ll find lots of exciting activities to participate in under the big stretch tent.

Join us for a fun and creative mosaic workshop where you'll learn how to transform a plain plant pot into a beautiful piece of art using coloured tiles, shells and stones.

In this workshop the team at EJaRt Creative will guide you through the session encouraging you to let your inner creativity shine as you make your own mosaic.

You will be able to take your pot home at the end of the session. Newspaper to wrap your pot will be provided as the adhesive may still be slightly sticky at the end of your workshop.

Please note:

  • Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
  • Please head down to the Walled Garden for the workshop. The session will take place in the stretch tent.
  • Allow 15-20 minutes from arrival at the kiosk to walk down to the Walled Garden.
  • Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting a little mucky! This is a creative session and you might get messy using the materials.
  • The path from the Welcome Point to the Walled Garden is hardstanding and takes around 10-20 minutes to walk it.
  • During the summer our shuttle bus will make trips to and from the Walled Garden to aid those who are not able to walk there.
  • The ground in the Walled Garden is grassy and undulating. Some manual and electric wheelchairs may find this terrain challenging to move across.
  • This session is aimed at children and all ages are welcome.
  • Adults who accompany children on this event are free to join. If adults want to make their own mosaic, they will need to buy a separate ticket.
