Westerham - a stroll through time
As part of the Heritage Open Day Festival, discover the changing, and occasionally not so changing, face of Westerham on a guided stroll around the town.
Though most noted as being the birthplace of General James Wolfe and close to the family home of Sir Winston Churchill, the town of Westerham has a largely untold history of its own. Join us on a free walking tour as we discover how the town has changed over the centuries. With the help of historic photographs, hear how the town has been shaped by those who lived and worked here.
Places are limited. Booking is required.
Please note:
- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- The tour starts at Quebec House and finishes in the town centre.
- Please dress for the weather.
- The stroll takes place on pavements. It is step-free but does include a steepish hill and crossing roads.
- Children welcome
